Tony Benn, chaired the first session on " Iraq - the debate Parliament won't have" A range of speakers gave their views
First speaker was a surprise - Dennis Kucinich - US Congressman, presidential candidate and longstanding opponent of the war in Iraq!
He spoke on the attitude to the war in Iraq in the USA.

Speakers from the floor included Helen Salmon from Birmingham Stop the War campaign - who expressed concerns over Iran situation and was looking to ensure that Stop the War supporters be ready to protest on the day should Iran be attacked.
