Matters Arising - None

Chair
Report -Bob Lambert spoke on our activities during the year, and the apparent apathy over issues affecting trade unions. He hoped the coming year would bring more positive aspects.

Secretary Report - The secretary's report had already been circulated. He added he was always looking at avenues to explore to promote Trades Council.

Treasurer Report - Pete Norfolk - the treasurer had been unable to attend the meeting as he was delayed in returning from London due to problems on the Colchester line.
However the secretary was in a position to go through the accounts and explain the Council's financial position
We had endeavoured to spread our funds as widely as we could. We ended the year with funds in hand.
The Sub Committee Account was also explained. The Treasurer's report was accepted.
Alternative Oyster Feast - A full report had been given to the November Meeting of the Council. The secretary worked in close collaboration with Cllr Dave Harris on this project.
Whilst funding for the event has always been found , extra support on the day from Trades Council delegates would be appreciated.
