Secretary's Report
Chris Burrows thanked the delegates for their support throughout the year.
Tribute was paid to the tremendous support given to trades council by the late Ken Rogers.
A lot of effort had gone into reorganization since. There was a need to raise our profile in the community, within the trade union movement and outside of it. There were issues that we ought to be tacking - such as job cuts in the Public sector, Pensions, Health & Safety, to name but a few.
A vote of thanks was given by the meeting for the secretary's efforts in organizing the trades Council.

Treasurer's Report

Pete Norfolk had assumed the role of treasurer.
Financially we are holding our own, a surplus of £13.58 on the year. Some extra affiliations had been most welcome.
We aim to support as many causes as possible.
Main account balance £153.11

With regard to the Sub Committee account, which funds the now "famous" Alternative Oyster Feast, donations of £805 had been received.
The account showed a healthy balance of £385.36, which gave a good start for the 2005 event.
